Rifugio is an experimental two voiced reading at the intersection of text and image. As the protagonists read, the paths cross, they brish against each other, they avoid each other, they listen each other, the wander around, they size each other up.

The everyday banal aspects of the text are revealed in the simplicity of the set-up a projection on two hanging bed sheets.

The text is an overlapping narrative, it deliberately creates ambiguities, incongruities and temporal dissolves to transport the audience into a floating world.

Rifugio’s aim is to question the fragility of identities boundaries and to activate the notion of reparation through a common story and action.
